Non-Destructive
Testing Capabilities

Hodge Foundry offers a full-range of non-destructive testing (NDT) services to our customers as part of our comprehensive Quality Assurance Program. On-site ANST Level II certified technicians perform a full range of testing for the castings we produce, including:

• Ultrasonic testing (UT)
• Magnetic particle testing (MT)
• Dye-penetrant testing (PT)

In addition to these in-house NDT capabilities, we can also coordinate Radiographic (X-ray) examinations with outside certified vendors. These non-destructive tests and other procedures ensure that our customers are getting the desired properties.

We also offer a variety of other testing procedures, including spectrographic analysis, dimensional testing (Metronor and Romer) and hardness/impact testing (Champy Impact), which are used to ensure that castings meet tensile strength, yield, elongation, hardness and dimensional/tolerance requirements.
