The metallurgy of each casting is tested to ensure that it meets the stringent standards necessary for our customers to be successful, and the properties of our sand system are optimized to provide a quality casting surface finish. Our in-house Leco GDS-750A argon spectrometer (23-channel) accurately measures the elements in the iron to meet ASTM, EN, JIS, or customer-supplied metal specifications. Moreover, as our industry evolves with new alloys and methods of producing the best quality iron, Hodge Foundry continuously strives to employ the best production practices into our castings.
